Founded in 1990, Classic Organs of Indiana, Inc. has become one of the nation's largest companies specializing in creating instruments for worship as well as encouraging and instructing local organists. Rather than being limited to one type of instrument, Classic Organs offers digital organs, pipe organs as well as hybrid - the combination of both pipe and digital into one instruments. This allows us to focus on your specific needs and recommend possibilities that meet or exceed your needs, are affordable and fit well within the physical structure of your worship space.
Knowing that 'one size does not fit all', Classic Organs recently added more choices and now represents four distinct lines of digital organs: Rodgers, Johannus, Copeman-Hart and Makin. These lines offer very clear tonal and feature differences. Rodgers is based in the American tradition while the other lines offer distinct European organ sounds and features.
Many times churches are looking for a new instrument due to service problems with their current organ. Service is always an important consideration in the selection process. Our builders are known for their commitment to the church market - which in and of itself is a commitment to long term service support. We recently purchased parts from Rodgers for a 38 year old organ that is still played weekly in a church - and should continue to do so for years to come. Although based in Indianapolis, Classic Organs maintains relationships with technicians in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, South Bend, Louisville and Evansville. We have our area of representation ringed with qualified service providers.
