Classic Organs grew out of Paige’s Music in Indianapolis. Warner Paige and Tom Magee began representing Rodgers Instruments LLC in 1983. Seven years later Classic Organs was formed with Tom being the sole owner.

After maintaining offices within Paige’s Music for several years, Classic Organs was then able to move to Piano Solutions in Carmel, Indiana. This move allows Classic Organs to provide their clients with access to one of the nation’s largest displays of fine pianos and digital keyboards.

Tom Magee has been involved in church music since childhood and has served as choir director, worship pastor, and organist. He also plays piano, electronic keyboards and timpani. Tom has served as Chair of the Trustees and Worship Committee in his home church as well.

Mr. Magee has earned respect in the organ industry from manufacturers as well as fellow organists. He served for many years on Rodgers Presidents Panel, offering advice on new organ design. Tom has been a teaching clinician at two regional conventions of the American Guild of Organists as well as a guest speaker at universities and seminaries.

In a time of changing worship styles and uncertainty in many congregations, Tom has helped forge a new and expanding role for the organ in worship. His creative styles and energy help keep the organ as the foundational instrument in worship even in blended/contemporary services.

Every client of Classic Organs works directly with Tom. He will be with you from the initial Input Meeting through the completion of your installation and training of your organists.
